Kandarp Patel
I am a veterinary epidemiologist and have worked with the red deer industry in New Zealand, Southern Rock Lobster industry, and Tasmanian Atlantic Salmon Industry before working with Biosecurity South Australia investigating the epidemiology and biocontrol potential of a new variant of rabbit calicivirus. Currently, I teach Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Technology programs at the University of Adelaide. My research interests include pest animal control/management, public health, infectious disease modelling, surveillance, evaluation of diagnostic tests, and risk analysis.
